Adult Faith Formation

We encourage adults to continue in study in whatever ways work for their lives.   It isn’t so important what you do, but that you do something to learn more about God and God’s Word.  Here are some ideas:

  • Attend a Sunday morning class from 9:20-10:20 am September through May.  Scheduled for this fall we have a men’s Bible study and an adult class studying “The Lord’s Prayer” during the regular Sunday School hours.  A new Disciple 2 class will meet from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
  • Find a daily devotion either in print form or online.
  • Form a short-term (or long-term) study group.  Resources are available from church staff or you can find your own.  We’ll help you connect with others who might be interested.
  • We currently have resources for independent study available.  One is the book “A Faithful Heart” by our bishop, Sally Dyck.  Another is called Unique Conformity on learning what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ.  We also have a book on parenting preschoolers in faith called “For Heaven’s Sake.”  Come get your copies and start studying now!
