Preschool

BUMPreschool is a public preschool that provides a high quality Christian learning environment for young children aimed at nurturing the whole child – mind, body and spirit. We believe early childhood should be a time of fun, warmth, security, exploring, and discovery.  We are a fun, hands-on learning environment where your child is given multiple opportunities to grow socially, emotionally, physically, intellectually, and spiritually. We feature fresh, new equipment; modern, colorful classrooms; and both indoor and outdoor play/learning spaces.  Our staff consists of 3 certified teachers: Gloria Farwick is the director of the preschool and lead teacher for the 3 year old class, Jody Brings is the lead teacher for the 4/5 year old class, and Christine Hartke is the assistant teacher for both classes. BUMPreschool is housed in the Buffalo United Methodist Church, 609 8th St NW (6 blocks west of Perkins).

To enroll in our preschool, children must be 3 years old and potty trained by September 1. Classes run September-May.  Our 4/5 year old class meets on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9:00 to 11:30 or Lunch Bunch from 9:00 to 1:00. Our 3 year old class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 to 11:30 . Class sizes are 16-18 children with two certified teachers per group.  (We have the option to add afternoon classes if our morning classes fill.) We are a public preschool licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

NEW in January  2012:

• Kid-Fit physical education program
• Lunch Bunch on Thursdays for the 3 year old class
• Continuation of Lunch Bunch for the 4/5 year olds on M, W, F

Registration Fee & Tuition (2012-13 School Year)

• Now registering for the 2012-13 School Year
• Nonrefundable Registration Fee: $40
• 4-5 year old class: $135/mo
• 4-5 year old Lunch Bunch: $205/mo
• 3 year old class: $105/mo
• Scholarships may be available
