We encourage adults to continue in study in whatever ways work for their lives. It isn’t so important what you do, but that you do something to learn more about God and God’s Word. Here are some ideas:
Sheryl Lehman shares how a serious car accident as a teenager changed her life forever, but did not shake her faith. Read Saved for a Purpose.
- Attend a Sunday morning class from 9:20-10:20 am September through May.
- Find a daily devotion either in print form or online.
- Form a short-term (or long-term) study group. Resources are available from church staff or you can find your own. We’ll help you connect with others who might be interested.
- We also have resources for independent study available. One is called Unique Conformity on learning what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Ask anytime and we’ll help you find resources.
- Write down your own faith story or faith creed. The process of putting on paper requires that we think about what we truly believe and how we came to experience God in our lives. It’s a great spiritual practice, whether your story is short or long. See one example of a longer story from one of our members, Sheryl Lehman, below. Click on the title to open the link.
